DAUM EUGENE Age 57, of Peters Township, PA, passed peacefully with his family by his side on Sunday, May 15, 2016. Born on July 13, 1958, he was the son of Patricia Daum and the late Harry Daum. Loving husband of Debbie Daum (Geiser); beloved father of Scott and Tracy Daum; cherished grandfather of Sophia and Cole Daum; brother of Pattilou Henchir, Mary Jo Shobe, and Scott Daum. Also, survived by many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his sister, Kathy Daum. Gene loved anything and everything construction related. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. BECK MARGARET M. (KERBERT) Of Shadyside, formerly of Monroeville, went to join the Lord our God on Sunday, May 15, 2016. She was born April 14, 1927. She was preceded in death by husband of 60 years, Walter A. Beck. Margaret is survived by her beloved sister, Nora "Betsy" Kerbert, whom she talked to several times each and every day. She was the beloved mother of Christine Ieraci (Ron), Eileen Hungerman (the late Andy) and Mark Beck (Karen). She was the cherished grandmother of six, Anthony "Rocky" Ieraci, Patrick Ieraci, Bradley Hungerman, Zachary Hungerman, Alexandra Beck and Abigail Beck. Margaret worked for over 30 years at Sears and Roebuck in Penn Center. She was a devoted Christian and member of St. Bernadette's in Monroeville as well as the Sacred Heart Church in Pittsburgh. GRECO MILDRED L. (DRABIK) Mildred L. (Drabik) Greco, died April 21, 2016, while in hospice at West Penn Hospital, after a last joyful rally of alertness with her family just hours before passing. Born in Ambridge, PA to the late Dmytro and Anna (Kost) Drabik November 19, 1921, she was preceded in death by her husband of 73 years, Marshall C. Greco and her four siblings, Peter, Irene (Philip) Lanzarotta, Mary (Robert) Roberti and Michael Drabeck. She is survived by her devoted children, Cassandra Ruane of Pittsburgh's East End, Marsha (Chris) Blair of Yountville, CA and Joseph (Sonia) Greco of Ross Township; her beloved grandchildren, Trina, Aria, Andre, Katherine, Roya, Justine; beloved great-granddaughter baby, Harte; a brother-in-law, Robert Roberti; two sisters-in-law, Violet Fontana and Florence Fontana; and many nieces and nephews of both the Drabik and Greco families. An energetic business woman, in the mid-1940s with her sister-in-law, Mrs. Sylvester J. Greco, she co-founded Marsyl's, an upscale dress shop, a going-concern for over 40 years. She was also sole proprietor of two other small businesses in Aliquippa, PA in the 1950s and 1960s. A private memorial service is scheduled through SS Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church in Ambridge. SPECA BENJAMIN “BEN” Age 75, of Bridgeville, PA, on May 16, 2016, passed away peacefully with family by his side. Son of the late Joseph and Caterina (Balestra) Speca; beloved and wonderful husband of 50 years to Eugenia (Cairns) Speca; devoted father to Ben (Kulapa), Dr. Michael (Carrie), and Dr. Steven (Lindsay) Speca; proud Pap to Mikey, Lilah, Anthony, Daniel, Gabriel, and Olivia Speca; loving brother of Angelo (Laverne) Speca, Emma (Dave) Webb, and the late Agnes Webber and Maxine (John) Recchio. Ben is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and good friends. Ben was a graduate of Carnegie High School and West Liberty College where he starred in football. He went on to teach in the Chartiers Valley School district for many years. Most of his teaching career was spent in the middle school, where he coached multiple sports, most notably football, compiling an impressive winning percentage. He touched many lives and gave of himself always. Ben was often a man of few words, but was always there in times of need. He defined the meaning of hard work. He loved teaching and coaching the students. He loved his fellow teachers and more recently his coworkers at Valley Brook Country Club. His dedication to his family is an inspiration to his children and grandchildren alike.
