KOSZARSKY ANGELA "NELLIE" Age 93, formerly of Mt. Lebanon, passed away on Friday, May 13, 2016, in Greenville, NC. She was born on August 25, 1922, the daughter of the late Stephan and Mary Bregon Kuglar. Nellie spent the last ten years living with her son, Ted, and enjoying the North Carolina lifestyle, watching her great- grandchildren grow, and visiting the lighthouses of the Outer Banks. She was married to John Koszarsky, Jr. for over 55 years. He passed away in June, 2000. She was the mother of three sons, John III, who passed away in May, 2005, Ted and his wife, Joyce, of Greenville, NC, and Tim and his wife, Michelle, of Canonsburg. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Theodore James T.J., Carolyn, and Julie, all of Raleigh, NC; and five great-grandchildren, Hazel, James, Hayley, Ethan, and Zoe. A graveside service will begin at 12 Noon on Friday, May 20, 2016, in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, McMurray. Everyone is asked to please meet at the cemetery. GROSS JOSEPH CAMILLE Age 99, of Morgan, died peacefully on May 10, 2016, at Southwoods Assisted Living Center in Titusville, PA, where he lived for the past four years. Joe was born June 1, 1916, the eldest son of Joseph F. and Olympia (Mouret) Gross. He graduated from Bridgeville High School in 1934 and worked at Universal Cyclops in Bridgeville. Joe married Christine Dernorsek of Sygan Hill in 1939. He enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1943, serving as a French language interpreter. He was honorably discharged in 1945 with the rank of TEC Sergeant. Joe and Christine owned and operated an independent grocery store, Gross' Market, in Morgan, PA for 22 years before retiring in 1977. Joe was an avid reader throughout his life and enjoyed working in his yard after retirement. Joe is survived by his sons, Joseph (Kim) of Franklin, PA, Robert (Sandra) of Vero Beach, FL, Kenneth (Charlene) of Port Allegany, PA and Allen of Orlando, FL; as well as eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents and Christine, his wife of 76 years, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Dorothy Gross and Mildred (Bott) and five brothers, James, Louis, Theodore, William and Edward. Richard passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Monday, May 16, 2016. He is survived by his wife, Betty Monnot of 30 years; daughters, Rebecca Monnot, Lynn (Paul) Paden, Kay (Tim) Flaherty; stepdaughters, Shelly (Mark) Noce and Sheila (Jim) Shoats; grandchildren, Kaylin E. Monnot, Daniel R. Flaherty, Emily J. Flaherty, Angelo James Noce, Michael Shoats and Lauren Shoats; brother, Albert Monnot; sister, Patricia Monnot. Before serving in the US Army and Korean War, Richard attended Akron University, where he played football for the Akron Zips. Richard worked with East Ohio Gas Company. Later, Consolidated Natural Gas Company for nearly 40 years. Working his way up from ditch-digging to Director of Information Services, retiring in 1990. In addition to his passion for golf, creating beautiful stained glass artwork, Richard had a deep love for his family and was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend. Vincenza was a member of St. Andrew Presbyterian Church, Sewickley.
